Jeremiah 29:11

                 Prayerline

A message in Judah Smith's book, Jesus Is, ministered to my heart so deeply (pages 17-20).  The Lord ministered to me about taking responsibility for my own actions, not putting the blame on someone else, as in the case of Pilate, who, although he had the authority to release Jesus, washed his hands of the entire affair, both figuratively and literally.  If he wanted to release Jesus, he most certainly could have.  So, he must take the responsibility for his actions.  But we cannot point the finger at Pilate and accuse and condemn him of his actions when, we ourselves, have been guilty of what Pilate did.  How often, in our own lives, have we failed to take responsibility for our actions?  How often have done wrong, easily blaming others instead of stepping up to the plate and assuming the responsibilities for wrong decisions or wrong actions?   I realize that there is a bit of Pilate in me trying to escape.

We are sons and daughters of the Most High God but are we satisfied just to make it into the Kingdom of God?  Or do we want to be servants and handmaidens of God who’ve said, “I want to be involved in what God is doing in this hour.  I want to be His bondslave, available to do His bidding 24 hours a day.”  Taken from Faith to Faith, a Daily Guide to Victory by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, March 31, "From Sons to Servants."

But you cannot do this without walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit who will lead you and guide you during this end time; there as your constant reminder to walk in the compassion and love of Jesus, not in condemnation and judgmentalism.  Jesus told his disciples to, “tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

Luke 24:49.

“And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those last days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy:  And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood and fire, and vapor of smoke.”

It is decision time; time for us to stand up, stand up for Jesus.
